This month we welcome Prescot-based MATE Productions to Reynolds Park with their outdoor production of swashbuckling exploits Treasure Island.
The company is touring its 'steampunk pirate adventure' to venues across Merseyside before taking it to the Edinburgh Fringe in August.
Robert Louis Stephenson's classic novel was adapted for the stage by multi-awardwinning director artistic director, playwright and composer Phil Willmott.
MATE Productions invite their audience to bring a picnic and a bottle of wine - and come dressed in their finest pirate regalia, although that's strictly optional.
Treasure Island will be performed in Reynolds Park on Sunday, June 10 at 2pm.
